General

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments are recommended so we can give you unhurried attention, but we always make room for genuine emergencies.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 10am–1pm and 5pm–9pm. Emergency care is available 7am–10pm daily.
Where are you located?
4th Main Rd, Macmillan Colony, Nanganallur, Chennai 600061.
Who will treat me?
Dr. Naveena R, MDS Prosthodontist & Implantologist, personally cares for every patient.
Do you treat children?
Yes — gentle, family-friendly care for all ages, including first visits.

Your Visit

What happens at my first visit?
A warm welcome, a short health form, a consultation with Dr. Naveena and a gentle exam with imaging if needed.
How long does an appointment take?
A checkup usually takes 30–45 minutes; treatment times vary and are explained in advance.
Should I bring anything?
Any previous dental records, a list of medications and your questions.
How often should I have a checkup?
For most people, every six months — though we'll personalise this to your needs.

Treatments & Costs

Are treatments painful?
Modern techniques and anaesthesia keep procedures comfortable. Nervous patients are our specialty.
How much will treatment cost?
Costs depend on the treatment. We always provide clear, upfront pricing before we begin.
How long do implants last?
With good care, dental implants can last decades.
Is a root canal better than an extraction?
Saving your natural tooth is almost always best. Root canals are routine and comfortable today.
Do you offer teeth whitening?
Yes — as part of our cosmetic dentistry services, tailored to your smile.

Oral Care At Home

How should I brush?
Twice daily for two minutes, soft brush at 45°, gentle circular motions.
Is flossing really necessary?
Yes — it cleans between teeth where brushes can't reach, protecting your gums.
What causes sensitive teeth?
Often gum recession or enamel wear. Desensitising toothpaste helps; persistent pain needs a checkup.
How do I care for implants?
Treat them like natural teeth — daily cleaning and regular professional reviews.
What foods harm my teeth?
Frequent sugary and acidic snacks and drinks. Water, cheese and crunchy vegetables help protect enamel.

Emergencies

What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out tooth, uncontrolled bleeding or trauma to the mouth.
My tooth was knocked out — what do I do?
Keep it moist (in milk or saliva), avoid touching the root, and call us immediately.
Can I manage pain until I'm seen?
Rinse with warm salt water and use over-the-counter pain relief as directed. Call us for guidance.
Are you available for emergencies?
Emergency care is available 7am–10pm daily — call us right away.
